A decent run, timing is no where close to the world record
Hit the walls quite often, should try to adjust my exit speed in the future

Back from a resilience camp
Had fun carrying out those activities, especially the maze which was the best activity to start off my camp
Epic moment inside the maze, cause 1 of my member kept shouting vulgarities and asking the instructor to on the lights while we were at the last container, but he didn't
Even more epic when we were out, the rest of them were already sitting down having their lunch and I looked like I came out of the swimming pool
Really pity the person who used my helmet next, soaked with purified water~

At night quite pek chek cannot sleep
Somemore the tent wet sia, I use my bag as pillow and the bottom part was wet
My clothes also kena the water how to sleep sia
Then when lights out outside damn noisy got laughter all that
My partner kbkb and kept shouting to that tent to go to sleep
I wonder how I could fell asleep though, I wasn't really that sleepy

Nothing much to talk about, cause the purpose is to make us more resilience, and I don't think I've changed much after the camp
Made friends instead and got to know more people
Oh yea, did I mention that I helped one of my injured team member?
Actually not really help much in the first aid side, helped in terms of strength by carrying her to the instructor's car, because she fell down during the hike and her ankle there swollen like got ball sia
The best thing was that it was raining heavily while we had out hike

Finally reached Level 99 on my main car :)

In actual fact, I consider myself a noob in this game

Akina Snow Downhill event; no expecting much from it, because it's a National Tournament, meaning that the results would be based from countries all around the world including Japan

Meet Soonzi at Tz Cwp, a level 99 pro player whom I assume is focusing on Time Attacks
The first time I meet him was at Tz Tampines Mall
Was time attacking on Akina Snow Downhill and was having crappy timings, like around 3'3x''xxx
Then Soonzi was right next to me playing and he spoke to me, telling me something that would dramatically improve me timing, which I would not mention here as it's quite complicated
When I heard what he said, I felt that it completely made sense, therefore I tried that method and I went so much faster, improving my timing by more than 10 seconds!
I don't even know how the hell Japanese players can be so freaking fast, whereby the best timing is 3'03"062

Tried out the new course; Akina Snow downhill with FD and AE86
Had a terrible experience at first, the road condition is too different from the usual
Got used to it after a while, but still crashing at all corners
This course is probably the hardest to master

Spent some time at Tz Cineleisure
Online battle in Initial D the entire time, while for some time I met this guy and played tag with him, he's still new to the game though
Met a pro, his player name is やきにく@A, and requested to have a 1 v 1 battle with me
I agreed, knowing what the outcome would be ._.
Yes, of course I lost to him, he level 99 sia
Then I somewhat made friend with him, talked to him about the game and ask for advice etc
Main card with FD reached level 70, aura changed to green, not that nice to me though
Now playing 2nd card with AE86T, currently level 47 and aiming for level 60 to get that yellow aura too
Won't really aiming for level 99, takes a long time and expensive too

It feels like there's something missing in my life

Ranked Number 36 and 40 (2 cards) in Singapore area for Initial D's latest event
My timings are really close to the cutoff point for the reward, and only the Top 46 players in Singapore earn the reward, whereby the requirement is to be in the top 60%
This shows that I'm still a noob and there are many things I need to improve on
It seems impossible for me to improve, cause I don't know how to
The only way is to observe the pros play, or approach them and ask them to teach me
Well, not really gonna spent much time on such activity, during school terms I hardly have time for it

Today was selected to be the runner in my restaurant practicum
Felt quite ok at first, thought it was an easy job and there's one more runner with me
Out of a sudden he got transferred to become captain, then I emo liao got to solo work :(
My role is to coordinate the kitchen and restaurant, and to prepare bread too, moreover not needed to communicate with guest
When first table walks in, took note of their orders and number of people, prepared butter, called for bread, tell kitchen side when to fire the soup
At first it was easy, until when all the tables started walking in D:
The orders started printing in one go, so much orders until I stressed up
Then one server would tell me to fire soup for this table, then another server would tell me to fire main course for that table, one more would tell me another thing
My memory is so bad that the only thing I would remember is the word "FIRE", don't know fire what, don't know which table
Actually it's not that bad as it sounds, there's a service instructor assisting me, I must really thank help to the max, I can't handle everything alone ._.
Was quite scared at first, because if I screwed up, the whole restaurant would be screwed up
There's one server who kept asking me to fire soup for her table, I told her that I've already requested for it
Then she started to panic, cause one of the guests started complaining about the bad service as they waited a long time for their soup
At the end of the day, she wrote an essay in the feedback form, front page back page also have -_-
For my part, everything went smoothly, despite my bad memory I was able to remember the things I was supposed to remember
After the day's experience I felt that runner is actually an simple job, as long as good coordination and communication is there, everything would go well

Was supposed to go to the fish expo with parents
But I unknowingly ended up in "License2Play", and I didn't know it was today
Saw many cosplayers, Zabuza from Naruto damn macho sia
At the same time there's the insane Asiasoft Game Festival going on
In the past I would be one of those no life kids at the Maple Story booth, now I have a proper life without this addictive game
Didn't really spent much time there, nothing much interest me there
Then went to TKA for some Maximum Tuning
Surprised that my skills still existed even though I didn't play for quite some time
Played Vs mode, won and lost some matched
After that I walked over to Marina Square for some online battle in Initial D
Never tried the online battle before, it's where the player gets to battle with other players from all around the world, however most of the time we would be encountering Japanese players

New car FT86. Mine obviously has the aura and wing ^_^

Changed backed to FD afterwards, more used to it

Was intimidated by the opponent's level, but I won with 200+ m advantage

Played with Japanese players all the while, no Malaysia, HK, China, Korea or Taiwan
Despite their low level, I must admit that Japanese players are instead skillful
I actually lost to the level 6 player in that last picture, main reason because the player picked rain in the course, and I totally suck in rain =/
Lots to learn in this game, but I choose not to learn so much

Monday blues began differently today
Started the day off with UT straightaway
But I felt so screwed up at most of the stations, especially my first part of taking reservation
I was quite confident with taking reservation
But after I picked up my phone and said my first 4 sentence, the whole situation changed
My first reaction when the guest replied to me on the phone, "WTF THIS ISN'T MY TESTER SPEAKING!"
To add on to my stress, the person introduced himself as Mr Albert Toh, principal of my school D:
Then I started to panic really badly, because I didn't know how to handle the situation and my tester, Mr Aw, couldn't not speak to me that fluently on the phone
Therefore, I really thought it was the principal on the phone with me , and my confidence was really low when I replied
I lose control of the situation till I went to the bar counter and the other service instructors whether it was really the principal on the line ._. Because the person on the line really sounded like the principal!
It turns out it was another service instructor testing me, and I would have never expected that, it would also mean I already screwed up my UT
From that moment on I thought I would have done badly already, but I retook the reservation with my original tester and the rest of my test went pretty well, even though most of the time I made mistakes in every stations >_<

After school nothing to do, therefore I went somewhere to improve my qualities of being a real man, and it's cheap too ^_^
$1.50 per entry only, 10 cents more expensive than 1 Initial D game >w<
At least this is something I'm doing that has meaning in my life

Don't want to go to Singapore then just come back without doing anything...so went level grinding in Initial D
Topped up $100...because of double dollar ended up with $200 in my card...I can play like a mad man D:

My slipper like almost broke...too much stepping of the gas

It's just the first week of school and the most unpredictable and happening thing has happened to me

For one of my module, Culinary Science and Kitchen Operations, I didn't do quiz, self and peer evaluation, and also didn't submit RJ on time.
I submitted my late RJ through mail at around 1am, stating my excuse that I do not have internet connection
Well, the internet connection part is a fact but the main reason is because I slept from 8pm to 1am >w< Whereby I missed the dateline of 2359
From that day I emo liao, blaming myself why I have to oversleep and I was sure that the facilitator would have a bad impression by just seeing such attitude on the first problem, aka the halo effect
BUT I GOT AN "A" FOR THAT PROBLEM OMGWTF
Evaluation, quiz never do, late RJ still get "A" O_O
Not emphasising on my "A", but rather on how I could actually get such a grade ._.

Jack of all trades, master of none

I realised that most of the people around me have an idea about what they want to achieve in their life; what is their dream
For example, during self-introduction there was one who said he wants to open his own restaurant and there were some who wanted to pursue a degree in a local university
For me, I do not know what is my dream, I don't know in what areas can I specialise in my career

I've never shared with anyone before what is my dream
But if I were given a choice, I would like to become a racer; Mountain and highway racing and I aim to be a professional
I know it doesn't sound like a proper career to start with, but I've developed a very strong interest in it since I was young, as if I have racing blood inside me
I think it all began when I was around 10 years old, the first addicting racing game I've played; Initial D Arcade Stage Version 2
I remembered the first car I bought, an Evo 4, however I misplaced the card and I don't know where is it now ._.
Therefore after so many years, I understand a bit how racing works, whereby I feel the most important and the hardest to master is the racing line
Thus, I would like to experience it in real life, not just in arcade games
Furthermore there's something I do not wish to affect by playing arcade games...
Yeah, so this is my dream, but it would be an impossible dream for me
Firstly, no money $_$ No car, no tuning
Secondly, no where to race, illegal to race in Malaysia and Singapore, don't know which Mountain pass or highway in Malaysia can go, Singapore don't even need to mention >_<

Spent 5 hours straight in Timezone

I played until the skins at the side of my thumbs came out...too much steering of the wheels x_x
Finally full tuned my NSX, now driving RX-7 FD3s and the handling is so much better

Thought that I should stop playing Maximum Tune for a few months
Main reason is to save money $_$ Thinking of buying Ipod Touch
Another reason is that I realised I'm becoming a perfectionist; having the mindset that I must win every game

This is something that might change my life

Somehow I ended up at the arcade in Clementi for a particular reason
Met up with someone whom I've known for some time
After sometime there, he then approached me and offered me to join his team
I agreed, because I've nothing to lose and also it's a good opportunity to improve my skills and also make new allies, perhaps build up my reputation and be more recognised
Most of you reading this knows that I'm a Maximum Tune Pro, Maniac, Addict...whatsoever
Can't remembered when I started playing this game, I think it was probably during Sec 2 or so
Of course when I started playing this game, I was a noob, well everybody starts as a noob
After years, months, days of playing this game, I've gained the skills to fight to be the fastest, although it's a huge waste of money
So now I part of a team, named J.A.M , which I never heard before till the day I stepped into clementi
So I guess the home of this team is in clementi
I don't know what will happen being in this team
But I will still aim to be faster
Asked him why he decided to recruit me into their team
He told me that he and his other team member saw me play and they felt that I played quite well
Hmm, that's obvious~ LOL

Therefore, I've come to a decision that when school reopens I will, must stop Maximum Tune
Maybe not completely stop...play lesser :x $__$

Went to TKA at Bugis Junction
Tried out the newly released Initial D Arcade Stage 6 AA
As you can see, I bought myself a license card~ Driving the newly released Honda NSX
Damn expensive siol, $2 to start game, $5 to buy that stupid card $__$
I must say this game is really addicting, I couldn't stop and I kept continuing
Now I'm studying the physics of the game; like how to drive properly in the game to make my car go as fast as possible
Doing so by gathering information from forums, youtube and even experimenting it by myself
It's going to be hard since this game was just released a few days ago

Racing games are my forte
I should consider racing as my career in the future

This is a moment in life I would always remember

Back from a 3D2N chalet with my class, had a great time with them
First Day spent most of the time playing poker cards, Monopoly Deal and DotA
Did something extra at night also, hehe
Talked about ghost stories and when the girls slept at around 6am, the guys went to play DotA LOL
Second day they went to rent bicycles, I was so scared because I don't know how to cycle >_<
I remembered during my secondary school chalet they taught me how to cycle
But in the end I failed and ended up cycling with the others on 2 seats one
The best part was that it was a girl who was taking the front seat
Now when I think back I can't imagine how she's able to balance it
The process of learning how to cycle was so tiring, I almost gave up halfway
Then suddenly, I don't know how I managed to do it but I was able to balance my bicycle ^_^
So happy I was able to cycle! For a 18 years old boy......
BBQ, slacked then went cycling in the night
Planned to cycle from Pasir Ris to Changi but halfway we stopped as it was tiring and most of us couldn't take it, especially the uphill parts
Halfway turned back and continued out gathering at the park
It was a great night I had as I spent most of the time speeding :)
Nothing much happened on the third day, it was time to separate paths again

Another group of friends I would not forget
Now it's back to my normal life

Initial D Arcade Stage 6 AA is out in Singapore!!!
After chalet went to Timezone @ cwp and I saw them setting up the machines

Sick for like almost 6 days
First it was sore throat, then fever and finally coughing non stop for the past few days
Because of this, I can't do lots of things
I need to watch out my diet, not able to take cold drinks
I also find it hard to breathe sometimes like I'm having an asthma attack
Because of this I cannot do much physical activities, even when I was carrying some heavy stuff, I lost my breath so easily
Perhaps because of all these, I've ruined some people's plans

Saw my first UT 2 grade for A114 module

Everything happened so suddenly

It's just one email that would change my entire lifestyle
Firstly, I have been accepted into Hotel F.U.Z.E committee
It's going to be a real fun experience as I will be working with some people that I'm familiar with, especially that one person where I believe our strategic thinking would change everything in the club.
However, I received another email from them, which only 3 people received
The 2 mails are similar, but after I read it through carefully, I realised the latter was more of a surprised to me
And that was I'm offered to be in the SOH club committee, ClubSohphisticate
Nevertheless, I went to the meeting along with those who received the same mail, talking to the President of F.U.Z.E and also the Vice president of ClubSohphisticate
After hearing about their experience in the club and how they wanted to change it, I began to understand more about the problems the 3 clubs are facing, which it's inconvenient to mention here
They wanted the 3 of us to take over their roles when they are gone for their internship
I don't know whether would it be a good or bad experience or me
Because currently, I don't even know whether I have what it take to be in such a leadership role

What should I do?

I'm back in action

After such a long time, I finally went to timezone and went maximum tuning
And the best part was that I was in my formal attire
The person sitting next to me asked whether I'm from RP and taking hospitality
I didn't know that RP SOH is so recognised that it's reputation has extended to the arcades
Oh well, 15 weeks of school is finally coming to an end
Compared to last semester, I don't know why I dreading for this semester to end quickly
Maybe it's because I can't wait to be in Year 2
Then in Year 2, I would have the same mindset and can't wait to be in Year 3
Lastly in Year 3, I can't wait for graduation
And my life cycle goes on

Today before Maths UT started, someone in my class approached me to help him sit for his UT later -_-
His offer was $50 initially, for me to switch laptop with him and help him get an "A"
Obviously I rejected his offer, how many times have I heard that cheating is a serious offense.
After which he raised his offer to $100, then to $120
The money looks good, but I'm not going to sacrifice my grades for money
Moral of the story:" Money cannot buy everything."

Well, Maths UT was ok
I was able to do all the questions confidently except for the stupid imaginary number part
I proudly say that I didn't revise for it at all, I did zero practice questions and I just skimmed through the 6Ps
Oh well, I'm still confident in getting my "A"
This is called positive thinking
Anyway, "O" level result's released today
I wonder how well will my school do, my batch did quite well
Obviously my result wasn't that good, RP's the last place people would go to but after spending close to 1 year in RP, it's actually a great place to settle down your education
I didn't know why I listed RP as one of my choice
Maybe I shouldn't have
Maybe I should have studied even harder that time and get myself into a JC which is more recognised
Maybe I should have put in more effort in everything I did

But one thing's for sure

This was my RJ question for Entrepreneur and I thought my response was interesting. So I decided to share it here, as it's also part of my life:

I would apply the sales process in finding myself a girlfriend. I would make use of the six key steps to ensure my "sale" is successful. Therefore, I would do so in the following way.

Step 1: Prospecting - I would scan through the surroundings and identify which kind of girl is the right type for me. In order to do so, I would require making friends with as many girls as possible so that I have more chances to clinch a sale. However, I must not identify too much potential, if not "overbooking" will occur and I would have less time to focus on one "sale". I would also approach and ask for their contacts so that I can approach them back in the future. Also, I should uncover reasons why I should not pursue some prospects, saving myself valuable time and resources. At the same time, I would also identify my potential prospect, so that I can plan how on to secure my "sale".

Step 2: Initial Contact - As mentioned in Step 1, after a get-to-know session, I would have a number of girl's contacts. Therefore, I would ask them out for lunch or movies etc, so that I would build a closer relationship with them. During this time, as I get to understand my potential prospects better, I would then be able to evaluate at the end of the day, which of the girls would best fit my criteria of my future girlfriend.

Step 3: Sales Presentation - This would be the most nervous step for me. After identifying my girlfriend, I would approach her and "sell my product", which in this case ask her to be my girlfriend. During this step, I would convince her of the benefits that she would get if she would become my girlfriend, like for example I would be faithful to her or I would never ever cheat on her and many more. I would also follow through on promises so that she would trust me more. Becoming the most nervous and exciting step, during this moment I must remain calm and don't be afraid. Also during my "presentation", I must have lots of confidence and be relaxed so that I have a higher chance to secure my "sale".

Step 4: Handling Objections - This is the most painful and heartbreaking step. After my confession and the girl reject me, I must know how to handle the objection. I must not be put off by an objection as it is a normal part of the sales process. Objections sometimes are a signal that the sale is progressing and I'm getting closer to a positive response. When the girl voices an objection, it imply that there are areas that I can improve on. For example, I spend too little time with her. Thus, the area I can improve on is to spend more time with her. Looking at the darker side, I would have to move on with life and look for other potential prospects which meet my criteria. As the saying goes, "Failure is the key to success."

Step 5: Closing the sale - At this point of time, I must look out for the moment when she's ready to be my girlfriend. Some "signals" includes she's becoming closer to me, talks more to me and goes out with me more often. After closing the sale and is convinced by me, she becomes my girlfriend. Yay!

Step 6: Follow-Up and Service after the Sale - After she becomes my girlfriend, I would need to build a long-term relationship with her so that we would last long. To do so, I would keep in touch with her by spending more time together. Also, being honest is important as we should not lie to each other but instead trust one another. I would also ask questions about her problems and needs so that I would be there for her. That's when my relationship with her can mature and develop into loyalty

2010 passes really fast
I've never felt time moving so fast, as if the Earth's moving faster than usual
Everything happened so fast this year
Life in poly is totally a brand new experience
It was until someone very close to me influenced me that life in RP's boring as we do the same routine for 15 weeks and I also feel tired of it
So not looking forward to school, but I've to struggle for 5 more weeks
I need to work harder, and try to improve my DG and UT grade even though I know I won't commit to it
And I discovered that all I need was 0.2 more GPA to be in the top 10% of my diploma
It's gonna be real hard this semester, with those freaking hard modules especially FA
But I'll try, it's better than giving up
Therefore, for semester 2, my goal is to be in the top 10%
Whether I achieve it or not it doesn't matter
However, if I do, that will be a real bonus for me

Lots of things happened this year
Good things and bad things
But both are worth remembering for the year
As they have set a milestone in my life
I won't forget the good memories, as they set motivation in my life
Neither I won't discard bad memories, as they tell me the mistakes I've made so I won't make the same ones in the future

Somehow I ended up in Bugis Junction and I went camping at TKA
It has been a while since I last played Maximum Tune, but my skills are still with me
Brought out my low rank GT-R where people think I noob, but I gained consecutive wins in a 4 way race
Really hate GT-Rs, so damn heavy that people try to ram it but instead getting themselves rammed, and that's the reason why I use it
After a while in another race, I used my RX-8 and I frequently got blocked by the opponent's car, I feel so damn du lan and in my heart I keep asking them to siam and just let me pass
It really destroyed my momentum of winning during the race

Hmm...wondering should I go or not
Chances of me winning are slim
Maybe I can just only qualify, my C1 time attack record is not that bad =/
If I get the chance to go Japan means I don't need study liao ^_^
